This post is a little late because I took off the holiday weekend. I’m coming to the end of “Six with Seven” (6 week training session meeting once a week with a personal trainer) and I’m almost ready to reveal the fruits of my labor.
Week five was all about power. Now that my muscles have been challenged with a new routine every week, cutting the fat to get leaner and meaner, we’re powering up with more weight and less reps. Previously, for example, I’d use a 30 pound barbell for 20 reps. Now I’m doing 50 pounds at 10-12 reps. It’s pretty amazing how much progress I’ve made in the past few weeks. I’ll have all sorts of fun stats — along with before & after pics — at the end of the week.
